Scarlet Cypress is one of the works on the last Wednesday before Nowrooz (Charshanbe Soori). On which we were unanimous and performed it in the limited time we had.

Fire as a symbol of warmth, light, purity and also one of four elements of nature has been special for us, used in different Iranian ceremonies and celebrations. Our work is on the basis of meaningful similarity between fire and cypress. Cypress is also one of Iranian beautiful symbolic forms. Although not much appealed to us, it came to a simplicity (a simplicity existent in the form of cypress and fire).Nearness of these two symbols probably for the ancient symbolism of cypress in our culture like fire, a symbol of freedom and enlightenment and ever-green tree.
