Seventy Thousand Curtains Collaborative Work by new Art Group

In ascension to heaven, in infinite space, prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) finds seventy thousand curtains made up of light, rubies, ringlets, pearls and gold. Each one of curtains are guarded by seven sets of angle like creatures

Prophet goes through these seventy thousand curtains accompanied by guidance angles and finds up heaven ornamented by scarlet ringlets (Book of Ascension by Mary Rose Segay

Beautiful landscapes and colorful hills of Hormoz Island depicts and image of paradise. New Art Group performed a scene from Book of Ascention related to Herat era by cooperation of Hormoz Ministry of Education and Guidance with seventy girls students of Hajar Secondary School

Girls wore nice costumes and kept their colored veils(Chadoor) in front of their face as a sign of curtain in each performance. Each of them was angles behind curtains

Regarding the short time we had for this performance, coordination with heads of school was required, that we were not deprived of. We are grateful to them. Atefeh, Shahrnaz ,Tara, Mahmood, Saman Lotfian and Atefeh Motehayer Arani made efforts together to work out

play with Fire

We arranged a musical performance with twenty Atash Gardan ( a device for rotating fiery coal) prepared by the assistance of presents artists and Mr. Darya Peima (familiar with music and performance). At the end, we gifted Atash Gardan to our friends. We, Mahmood, Sharhrnaz, Tara, Minoosh Zahra, performed it for the first time in Tehran with four Atash Gardan on the last Wednesday befor Nowrooz (Charshanbe Soori) and later in different places in different forms.
